10 AM AUTHENTIC VALPARAÍSO:

We will start the day traveling by train along the coastline to reach Caleta Portales. Here you will get to know its two markets for seafood products from all over Chile. You will be amazed by the sea lions, seagulls and pelicans and you will learn about people related to artisanal fishing. From this point we will go by bus to the Cardonal Market, the most chaotic sector of the city, where you can soak up the local spirit through the colors, aromas and sounds of the place. We will insert ourselves into the depths of the market to show you the traditional kitchens with the smell of the port and the taste of the sea. Then we will cross the entire city in a traditional electric trolleybus to reach the Mercado Puerto, where you can visit the Arts and Crafts Fair. Finally you will visit the Plaza Echaurren and the Ascensor Cordillera, to finish in the historic Plaza Sotomayor.

1 PM TIME FOR LUNCH

Whether you want to try the authentic market cuisine, go to an elegant restaurant or just have a coffee and eat something light, we are ready to share our best recommendations with you according to your tastes and preferences. The city has a wide gastronomic offer.

2 PM FAMOUS VALPARAÍSO:

We will start this tour in the historic Plaza Sotomayor. From there we will take a bus to Paseo 21 de Mayo, the most famous viewpoint in the city and one of the best panoramic views. We will descend through its small streets to reach Plaza Wheelwright where we will board an electric trolleybus bound for Plaza Aníbal Pinto. From here we will climb to Cerro Alegre in an old funicular called Reina Victoria. Once at the top, we will start a pleasant walk through the most touristic neighborhood of Valparaíso where you will enjoy incredible views and you will be able to meet the artists that give life to the place. Throughout this route you will be able to take incredible photographs of the city, its architecture, views and urban art.
