On this tour you will discover the unexplored hills of Valparaíso from one end of the city to the other. We'll show you the best hidden gems in the city as we walk around the streets of three different non-tourist neighborhoods.
You will see architecture, local commerce, schools, daily life, murals and incredible views during this day that will fly by. But most importantly, you will meet the inhabitants of Valparaíso also known as "porteños".
Cerro Playa Ancha: The largest neighborhood in the city. Located on the west side, it is recognized for its impressive Victorian houses. Universities, regiments and sports institutions give life to this interesting area.
Cerro San Juan de Dios: Located on the south side, this is one of the quieter areas, with an interesting mix of old and new houses, as well as hidden murals and intimate views.
Lunch: Strategic stop at Subida Ecuador, known for its active nightlife. Here you will find many options for lunch, from traditional Chilean food to empanadas, completos (Chilean hot dogs) or even the best local pizzas.
Cerro Barón: Old neighborhood located on the eastern side, originally related to the working class and Chilean railway development, with the most photogenic elevator, amazing panoramic views and interesting murals.
At the end of this experience you will understand what it is like to live in the hills of Valparaíso!
